Partner and Solicitor
Penny is an experienced commercial property lawyer, dealing with all aspects of commercial conveyancing, landlord and tenant work (including commercial leases and all associated documentation), the purchase and sale of investment properties and secured lending. She also handles land development matters (acting for developers and landowners), working on both commercial and residential development projects.
Penny trained with a West End firm, qualifying as a solicitor in 2000. She has subsequently worked for a number of large Kent firms, together with a period working in-house as General Counsel for a London-based renewable energy developer. Working in-house has helped Penny to see each transaction from the client’s point of view and she enjoys working with her clients to become part of their team.
Penny has the following qualifications: M.A. (Hons) in Classics – Girton College, Cambridge
Post Graduate Qualifications: Common Professional Examination (CPE) and Legal Practice Course (LPC) – College of Law, London (now called The University of Law).
In her spare time, Penny enjoys the theatre, museums and art galleries and watching test cricket. She co-ordinates fundraising activities and social events at her local theatre and volunteers as part of their front of house team.
